- If you haven't been to one of these Jams, you are in for a real treat! A lot of great guest artists show up as well. We have a big turnout, great musicians joining in for the Blues Jam and everyone has loads of fun. Come out and join us, you'll be glad you did! Bring your friends and family. Children are welcome.
- The Society'S Pro Blues Jam is usually held on the 2nd Sunday of each month but March's Jam will be held on Saturday, March 13th at Vincenzo's Pizza, 24504 1/2 Lyons Avenue (shopping center behind Shell station), Newhall,CA. 91321. All Ages Welcome. Come hungry - Vincenzo's is well known for their award winning Pizza and all Blues Society members get a discount by showing an up to date Membership card - get a Large Pizza for the price of a Medium.
Come on out and show us what you've got. Each month will feature a different "Blues Spotlight" Host Band. Due to the number of Jammers, we do give preference to the Society Members but Non-Members are more than welcome to sign in on the Jam List and we will get you up on stage as soon as possible.

"Stagg Street Band"
Stagg Street Band is a newly "reformed" group of player formerly known as Big Fish and have been playing together in the southern California area for the last two years.
Hailing from France, Texas, Sweden and California...the Band members have merged into a very cohesive Blues unit that definitely plays pocket oriented grooves.
Stagg Street is fronted by Singer/Guitarist Susan Rey, whose powerful and soulful vocals definitely get (and keeps) your attention.
Danny Ciarfalia on Guitars and Vocals is a treat to hear, whether it be scorching Country inspired Guitar or the nastiest and greasiest Blues.
Dicken Berglund on Keys and Vocals, hails from Sweden and has been in Music and Video Production since the 80's. He lays down some of the best B3 and Piano around.
Rachelle Romeo on Sax and Vocals, started her musical journey at the age of 10 and has performed with many luminaries in the LA scene ranging from Pete Escavedo to Steve Smith. She plays a soulful and powerful Sax that just has to be heard.
Pat Wilkins on Bass Guitar and Vocals is originally from France. Playing in bands ranging from hard Rock to Blues...he has laid a solid foundation as part of the rhythm section of Stagg Street. Pat also builds fine custom Basses and Guitars with his company, Wilkins Guitars.
Leslie Butts on Drums comes from the Texas Blues scene and influences such as Freddie King, Stevie Ray and Jimmy Vaughn and Delbert McClinton. Leslie moved from Texas in 1980 to work at Schecter Guitar Research, where he met Bass Player, Pat Wilkins. Together they form the foundation and groove for the Band.
