The Santa Clarita Valley Blues Society, established in 2003, is one
of the youngest Blues Societies in the World. We are a 501(c)3
nonprofit organization and are affiliated with the International
Organization "The Blues Foundation" in Memphis, Tennessee.
Our mission is to preserve and
promote the Blues music art form.
We will accomplish this with many
ongoing Society Events.
We support the local Santa Clarita Valley and Los Angeles Blues
scene thru this website, Member Band links & gig notices, our
"Blues Friends" email list, Society member email list, Weekly
"Blues News" newsletter, Online Calendar, Monthly Blues Jams
and other Events, Fundraisers and Concerts.
Also, we are in the midst of implementing our new "Blues In The
Schools" Program and are looking for volunteers to help us teach
our youngsters about the History of Blues Music.

Our "Battle of the Blues Bands" was held on Saturday,
Sept. 19th and we have picked the Winning Band and
Duo Act who will best represent the Society in Memphis
at the upcoming 2010 "International Blues Challenge".
We've sponsered a Band and Solo Artist to Memphis
each year since 2004 and 2 out of those 6 years, our
Bands have made it into the "World's Top 10" Finalists!
