About Us

The Santa Clarita Valley Blues Society is a 501c(3) non-profit organization that is dedicated to the preservation and advancement of blues music as an art form. The SCV Blues Society is entirely staffed by volunteers who coordinate all events. We host a monthly “2nd Sunday Blues Jam” at our home venue at the Newhall American Legion Post 507, and each year we host a Battle of the Bands to select a local blues band to send to the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN.
