The Society’s 2nd Sunday Blues Jam is held on the 2nd Sunday of each month. and  each month features  the opportunity for anyone there to bring up an instrument and sit in for a set, or just enjoy the music or dance.   If you haven’t been to one of these 2nd Sunday Jams, you are in for a real treat! A lot of great guest artists show up. We have a large turnout of established musicians joining in the Blues Jam and everyone has loads of fun. Come out and join us, you’ll be glad you did! Bring your friends and family.  All ages are welcome. On occasion, a local showcase band plays from 5 to 5:45 pm, followed by the open jam. The location is “The Newhall American Legion Post 507”  24527 Spruce Street. Newhall, CA. 91321. For our regular 2nd Sunday Jams there is a $10.00 cover at the door.  Current members are $5.00 (an annual membership is just $20 and will get you in for free the night you join).

Monthly Jam Showcase Opportunity

From June 2026 through September 2026, the first set of each “Second Sunday Jam” will be reserved for bands/performers who would like to showcase their music in preparation for the October 2026 Battle of the Bands. Think of this as an opportunity to fine tune your songs in a fun environment!
