Music and Dance Events at Club 507

Club 507 at the Newhall American Legion Post has been the home of the Santa Clarita Valley Blues Society for several years, and we are proud to help promote the great music and dance events that they host.

Check out the list below of the of upcoming events at CLUB 507. You’ll see they are only getting the best bands and musicians that you want to dance to! Included are complementary dance lesson at 4:15 before each band, with instructors who will help you know exactly what you need to know to dance to the band that evening!

So many wonderful bands have been on the CLUB 507 stage these past 16 months — and they all ask for a date to come back. The bands love the sound, the lighting, the dancers! All of what we have to offer at CLUB 507 is due to people like you who support live music and dance events in Los Angeles. Thank you so much for helping to support our favorite venue!

COME DANCING AT CLUB 507 NEWHALL! YOU ASKED FOR THEM BACK, SO WE’VE GOT THEM! THE RAYFORD BROS!!!

Get ready to once again, rock and roll with the incredible RAYFORD BROS! This is going to be one heck of a show, so grab your dancing shoes and get ready to boogie the night away. These talented musicians are sure to have you tapping your feet and singing along to all your favorite rockabilly tunes. Don’t miss out on this electrifying event. (Rayfords will be coming down from a gig in Bakersfield this afternoon, and will be raring to rock ‘n roll with us!)

Thanks to the Santa Clarita community for supporting this new swing dance venue in the heart of downtown Newhall! Thank you for trusting that the bands we bring in will get you tapping your feet, bobbing your head, and swinging on the dance floor!

And, as we always do now at the break, everyone is welcome up on stage for an evening band photo! So much fun!

@ReubenSosa & @PamSosa, Swing Dance Instructors from Bakersfield will be our guest instuctors for the evening! They’ll provide a basic Swing Dance Lesson tailored to the music of the RAYFORD BROS Band before the band at 4:15pm. You’ll be able to dance as soon as the band plays — from 5-7:30pm.

Ms. Christie, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary member, will again be creating a little something special for our guests — Pasta Primavera with all the trimmings — all for only $18! You’ll be pleasantly surprised, as all our dancers and bands love Christie’s food!

CHUCK STRONG’s BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION: He’s not only the president of the SCV Blues Society, but also the CLUB 507 Sound Engineer, and a member of a number of bands in the SCV — THE FUNSLINGERS will be performing at 507 in AUGUST!!! Since it’s his birthday at the end of May, we’ll be celebrating with mini cupcakes and a special cocktail just in his honor!
