2024 Board Members & Volunteers

There’s a lot of hard work that goes on behind the scenes, so when you see these folks out and about at Blues events be sure to thank them. They are also willing to listen to suggestions and enlist your volunteer support.

Chuck Strong, President

In addition to being president, Chuck is a long-time SCV resident and a drummer who plays gigs throughout the area.

Steve Brittain, Vice President

Steve is a long-time member and vice president of the SCV Blues Society. Steve is also a drummer and member of the 2023 Battle of the Bands winning band, the Bootleggers.

Wende Mintz, Director of Social Media

Wende is a swing dancer, and she has handled band promotion, event production, assisting and supporting live music events at CLUB 507 since October 2022.

Elio is an SCV resident who in his spare time enjoys listening to, and occasionally even playing the blues as a guitar and bass player.
